The Olive Grove are qualified to conduct Focus on the Family’s No Apologies Abstinence programme as well as other programmes, this interactive programme focus’ on teaching young people to abstain from sex before marriage. Successful programmes were completed at Delta Primary, Eastville Primary, Floreat and Sullivan Primary Prefects Camp, Zeekoevlei Primary, Steenberg High, Church Youth groups and workshop in various communities.

SWEETHEARTS PROJECTS

The Sweetheart’s Project is aimed at children disadvantaged by dysfunctional homes and various socio-economic challenges.

The “Sweethearts” Project focuses on assisting with the physical, social, educational needs of these children but also supporting them emotionally.

The project focuses on children between the ages of 8 and 12 years old.

Sweethearts Camp and Excursions
We arrange and plan camps and day excursions for this project.
Some of the topics we cover:

• Healthy Safe living, Hygiene, Grooming, Etiquette
• Team building activities
• Self-worth motivational and Mentoring sessions
• Birthday celebration + a photo session + gift bag / hygiene pack

THE GATHERING

The Olive Grove is a bible-based institution and has its foundation and guidance based on Biblical Principles.

As a community of Believers, we follow the guidance of Acts Chapter 2 verses 42 – 47 (The Passion Translation): “Every believer was faithfully devoted to the teachings of the Apostles. Their hearts were mutually linked to one another, sharing communion and coming together regularly for prayer and studying God’s Word. All the believers were in fellowship as one body and they shared with one another whatever they had.”

The Gathering, is a place where fellow believers meet on a regular basis to fellowship around God’s Word where Bible-based teaching aims to connect with people and empower them with biblical principles in order for them to impact and advance God’s kingdom.
